This is the kind of day blogs are for
It's finally over.
note:I finished this huge ass entry and what happened? While I was looking for a "link of the day" firefox crashed. What crap. Anyway. Here is a re-written version, divided into parts for your reading pleasure.
I woke up at the bright hour of 10:30AM today to go to class. I came back on my break from 12-1 to do some last minute studying for my IME-156 test and to grab some taquitos. I think I did decently on my IME test, but who knows.
IME Tests blow
My tests for IME-156 are the worst tests I have ever had in my life. Even worse than those DMV driver's license/permit tests. Here are a few reasons they're so terrible.
1. All the tests are multiple choice questions on stuff we've barely touched on in our 1-hour-per-week lecture.
2. The entire test is matching. It is divided up into sections of 5 terms and 5 possible answers.
2. Some answers are used multiple times or not at all. This kills any hope of using process of elimination to figure out what it could be.
3. The questions and the answers are all less than 2 or 3 words, so it's like multiple choice-matching-word association.
4. One set of questions was a step-by-step process. We had to list the steps for making a silicon wafer in order (first action A, second action B, etc.) If you put one of the steps in the wrong place, you get all five question wrong. What ass.
To give you an idea of what it's like and not confuse you with crazy IME terms that even I don't understand, here is an example of a test I think our teacher would give to preschoolers:
Dogs are Illogical
As you can imagine, I had had quite enough of IME by the time I finished, so like a fat kid at dodgeball, I was out of there. I stopped by Marcos' room and Kevin Roberts was there. I went with him, grabbed Chris (would have grabbed Matt but he was being a little bitch "I have class".. we were back in time.) and went to drop off our applications and deposit checks for our house next year. Our landlady wasn't there, but her husband was happy to take our apps and checks (I just realized that we handed this guy like $3000 in checks, hmm.)
The most interesting thing about this trip was her dogs. As we got to the house, this pack of 4 dogs comes running toward us. I'm not particularly a dog person, so this was a bit scary at first, I sorta stood behind Kevin and Chris. They were nice though, especially one in particular. She had this big pinecone in her mouth and brought it up to me while we were standing there on the porch. She dropped it and barked at me like "throw it, you fool" I bent to pick it up and she grabs it and turns away. How am I supposed to throw it if you won't let me pick it up, silly dog. I wasn't about to grab the pinecone as it was pretty sharp and I didn't want to mess up my hand or the dog's mouth. As we're leaving, she runs over by my car door and stands there like "please throw it" I try again, but she won't drop it. I give up and get in my car. As we drive away, she is standing there, perfectly still, staring at me all sad, like "Why didn't he throw it for me..? :*( " It's her fault, she should have dropped the damned pinecone.
Goodbye to Math
My procrastination activity for today was my AIM away messages. I went through deleting old ones and changing some so that they were better. I deleted ones I'd never use again, like "Tennis", "Playing Pool", and "Tech Writing". I came across my "Math" away message and realized that I never have to take another math class again. At first it seemed weird, but then I'm like "What am I thinking? Math sucks." DELETED
Winamp Weirdness
I know my winamp is on random playlist order, but it's been kinda weird today. I have almost 3000 songs but sometimes I wonder if it can read my mind. I've had words from "You Know How I Do" by Taking Back Sunday in my head all day. The thing is, I didn't know the name of the song until I looked it up, but this evening while I was working on homework, it came on! Madness. Also, "4 AM" by Our Lady Peace came on, which is a really touching song (not touching in the Michael Jackson way). Right after that, "Not Enough" also by Our Lady Peace, came on- Jen's favorite OLP song. Weird. Winamp is crazy sometimes, especially when the next random song it plays is the one that just played. If you aren't paying attention it makes you go "What the heck? Did I restart the song or something?"
That's about enough out of me, time for some sleep.

Leave me some! It's great that people read this crap. Leave me your thoughts. I spend so much time writing, you might as well write something you lazy ass. If you don't have a Blogger account I'd recommend posting as Anonymous but adding a "-YourName" to the end of your comment so I know who it's from.

1. Dog       A. GrowsThe one upside is that he curves grades. However, there is always going to be that one person who defies all logic and odds and somehow gets the answers to the assbackwards test right. On the last test I was that bastard. Somehow I got a 46/50. I still have no clue how.
2. Cat        B. Has Legs
3. Tree      C. Fur
4. Sky        D. Bark
5. Grass     E. Is alive

Kevin, you are such a wuss. Not all that dogs do is fetch. but it was funny reading about your dog experience. maybe if you really tried you could have gotten it out of the dogs mouth, then thrown it, maybe that was the game. come on human, your supposed to be the smart one. I also just noticed something, im like the first post on every damn entry, dont you have any real friends closer than 4 hours away? cause i certainly havent met any.
Karls Grandmother's Grandson (he thought it was funny before so ill use it again, because that makes complete logical sense)

No, all my friends here just have better things to do than sit around and read my blog. hahaha we both know that's not true.
