Killing hellspawn
has never been more awesome thanks to Doom 3!!!
Although killing hellspawn in Diablo 2 was pretty fun cuz you learn lots of cool skills and find cool items, you can't argue with being able to blow something's head off with a shotgun. You really can't. Shut up. Stop arguing with me. It's my blog. Fool.
I had written a longer post but due to my ability to lose my blog entry while looking for a link of the day, I will say this. Doom 3 is awesome, even on my five year old computer that doesn't quite meet the minimum requirements, it runs and only gets a little choppy when there is a lot of action onscreen. This game is SCARY! Screenshots of the game really don't do it justice... you have to see and hear it yourself. I can't wait to play more in the dark, alone, with my surround speakers turned up. (EEK!) They did such a good job with this game it's rediculous.
Now it's time for me to save up so I can buy a new motherboard, cpu, memory, and videocard. My current ones have served me well for five years, which is a long time in computer terms, but it is time to move on. Fortunately, by the time I have the cash, the new technologies, PCI Express, DDR2, and 64-bit processors should be more common and a bit cheaper. I can't wait to re-play Doom with all the super-cool eye candy turned on.
