School...almost...done
The temptation of new gadgets and games await.
This week was another crappy one. Assignment after assignment- First it was EE homework, a lab report, and a massive prelab. Then came more work designing a MIPS CPU with my lab partner, Danny. Finally, I topped it off with a program due Monday that I didn't have any time to work on during the week. Fortunately, I worked on my program today and totally kicked ass. Almost finished with the whole thing in about three hours. =D That's gotta be some sort of record.
I have really been dreading this program the whole week because it is all stuff I haven't really done before. I had been planning to spend most of the weekend on it, and I'm in Temecula, so I was really worried that with all the driving I wouldn't have enough time.
Next comes this- on Friday, at work we all got BlackBerrys (essentially cell phones and wireless email). It was quite the mental struggle not to stop by the office on my way home from school and spend all weekend playing with it instead of doing my program.
What's more, while watching a TV commercial for it last night, I realized the new Nintendo DS (awesome new gameboy) comes out this weekend. However, once again, I decided to hold off on getting the new toy, as finals is coming up and I think I'll have quite enough distractions.
